Data Migration Support (Technical / Scripting Focus)

Overview: This role is focused on supporting ERP data migration initiatives within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments, ensuring accurate, consistent, and high-quality data transitions from legacy systems. The position combines technical data migration activities with cross-functional collaboration, acting as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout migration, integration, and stabilization phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end ERP data migration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Analyze legacy systems and contribute to data mapping and transformation design

• Execute migration cycles including data loads, validation, and reconciliation

• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams during migration activities

• Support data quality assessments and ensure consistency across systems

• Assist in integration topics where required (interfaces, data flows)

• Troubleshoot migration issues and support stabilization phases

• Ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards

• Document migration logic, mappings, and outcomes

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or similar

• ~3–5 years of experience in ERP projects with a data migration focus

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems

• Solid understanding of data structures, SQL, and transformation logic

• Ability to work across functional and technical topics

• Experience with integrations or APIs is a plus

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Fluent in English
