D365 Finance & HR Consultant

Overview: We are looking for a skilled D365 Finance Consultant to support finance transformation and ERP optimization projects focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The role combines finance process consulting, ERP implementation, reporting automation, and stakeholder collaboration within international client environments.

Key Responsibilities 

• Act as D365 Business Consultant (Finance) supporting implementation, optimization, and stabilization of finance processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central  

• Configure and support core finance processes: General Ledger, cost centres, financial reporting, controlling, and month-end closing  

• Design and improve financial reporting and management accounting structures  

• Develop Power BI dashboards and replace manual Excel/PowerPoint reporting with automated solutions  

• Ensure accurate financial data flows between ERP, payroll/HR, and reporting systems  

• Support integrations between ERP, BI, and group reporting environments  

• Act as a bridge between finance teams and technical teams during requirements, testing, and rollout phases  

• Support payroll and HR-related processes using SwissSalary  

• Participate in ERP rollout, migration, and finance transformation projects on client site 

Qualifications 

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance module focus)  

• Hands-on experience in ERP finance consulting: GL, cost accounting, reporting, closing, and controlling processes  

• Experience with Power BI and financial reporting automation  

• Knowledge of payroll and HR processes, ideally with SwissSalary  

• Understanding of financial controlling: margins, cost allocation, profitability, and monthly closing  

• Experience in ERP implementation, rollout, or support projects  

• Strong Excel, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills  

• Knowledge of the Swiss financial system is required  

• Residence in Switzerland or a neighboring country (for client site travel)  

• Ability to work independently in client-facing, project-based environments
